Project Summary:

  • Complete refurbishment of Edwardian ‘Gentlemans Residence’
  • Removal of old partition walling
  • Opening up of kitchen, opening up of lounge to include a new sun lounge extension
  • Complete re wire, re plumb and new heating system
  • All new bathrooms throughout including a luxury wetroom for the main suite

Materials and techniques utilised:

  • Re pebble dashed entire house after sourcing original mix of stone and shells to preserve the original look
  • New roof with Brazillian Slate
  • Hardwood decking construction (yellow balau) including electics, drainage, sunken sirepit and staircase
  • Conservation of existing windows
  • Steel erection
  • Velux and large bi fold fitting
  • New garden planting

Current Status

  • Planning also achieved for use of top floor as a seperate flat with external access granted via an external staircase.
  • New owners have moved in and are very happy
